Jessica Paddock

My name is Jessica.  I am 14 and I have Cystic Fibrosis. I spent last year desperately awaiting a new pair of lungs. I was on oxygen 24/7, had to live down stairs and couldn't last two weeks without going to hospital.

In October 2014 I got my third call for lungs. I did not have much hope as they called it off the previous two times. When I finally reached the hospital I realised it was actually going to happen. I was in hospital for three weeks and improved rapidly. Now I am a happy, healthy teenager; I am back at school and going out with friends - stuff I never would have dreamed of doing.

Now I try and tell everyone my story to make them think about organ donation.  When I am older I hope to become an advocate for LLGL.
